When I wrote this, it was the beginning of 2020, and I was feeling hopeful. The year had a good ring to it. Little did I know what was about to unfurl…. 2020 is now almost over, and I’m thankful, and once again hopeful for a better future, a year of mending–both physically and as a nation.

Kindness, however, is never out of style, and doing good should always be at the forefront of our actions.
