I am a marketing professional with a passion for writing and a curious mind. I believe that regardless of our age or intellect, we are—or should be—still learning. We are social beings and, although society as a whole can be scary, I am looking for individuals and their stories that can serve as good learning tools.

I’m Oana (pronounced “wanna,” like in “wanna dance?”). I was born and raised in Transylvania, Romania. I graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Spanish minor from Berea College, the #1 liberal arts college in the South, and a unique private college featuring an incredible tuition-free work-study education. I received an MBA degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I love traveling and I share my experiences in my travel blog GreatEscapetations.com.
